Madrichim Application 2019-2020 - Form

Applications are now being accepted to be a Madrich (Male Teacher Assistant) or Madricha (Female Teacher Assistant) at Temple Beth El Religious School during the 2019-2020 school year. Please fill out the form below and be sure to complete the entire form. Applications are due by August 1, 2019. We will try to honor any requests, but it is not always possible to do so. If we receive your form after the deadline, we will do our best to assign you to a class you requested but cannot guarantee any requests will be honored.

TBERS Madrichim Requirements: All Madrichim must fulfill the following requirements:

- 8th - 10th graders must be enrolled in the Consolidated Hebrew High School of Jewish Studies (see hebrewhigh.org for more information and be on the look out for registration opening soon!)

- 11th and 12th graders may attend the Consolidated Hebrew High School's post-confirmation program or actively participate in any local Jewish teen group or TBE teen group.

- TBERS Madrichim volunteer their first year and are paid for each year worked after.

***MANDATORY attendance is required at the Madrichim Orientation on Tuesday 9/10 at 7pm in Luski Hall in the Bernstein Education Building.

Music - you should have a special interest in music and song leading. Playing an instrument is not a requirement but strongly desired. Drama - you should be comfortable acting and directing young children and pre-teens in theater activities.Art - you should enjoy and wide variety of creative activities.Technology - this is great for anyone with an interest in learning to direct and edit videos for the school and Temple. No prior experience with the equipment needed. We will train you. Office - help in the TBERS main office on Sundays.Tutoring - Hebrew Tutoring (not Bnei Mitzvah).
