Welcome to the B'nei Mitzvah Madrichim Program for the 2019-2020 school year!

You each know how important the madrichim are in preparing to become b'nei mitzvah at Temple Beth El!  Cantor Thomas really depends on the b'nei mitzvah madrichim to make the experience meaningful and engaging for the students. Please take a moment to fill out the form below to tutor for the 2019-2020 school year.  Even if you have tutored in past years, we need you to fill out the form.

Due to the change in the Religious School schedule, our tutoring sessions this year will be on Sundays at 9am and 9:45am and on Tuesdays at 4:30pm and 5:15pm.

There is a mandatory orientation for all b’nei mitzvah tutors on Wednesday, August 28^th from 6:00pm-7:00pm. You will receive a poll by email in August asking you to tell us when you are available to tutor. Based on all of the tutors' schedules, Tracey Lederer creates and then distributes the monthly assignments.

- 8th, 9th and 10th graders must be enrolled in the Consolidated Hebrew High School of Jewish Studies (see hebrewhigh.org for more information.)

- 11th and 12th graders may attend the Consolidated Hebrew High School's post-confirmation program or actively participate in any local Jewish teen group or Temple activity (Teen Vocal Ensemble or Band).

- B'nei Mitzvah madrichim volunteer their first year and are paid for each year worked after.
