Thank you so much for making your My Temple Commitment for 2023-2024!

For any community to thrive, we must all do our part. My Temple Commitment is Temple's primary source of revenue. Our annual commitments pay for our clergy and staff salaries, youth and adult education, cover our operating expenses, care for our building, and underwrite our programs.

Our Base Commitment covers a portion of Temple's operating expenses. Those who donate at a Sustaining level help to make Temple financially accessible for all and allow us to fully meet our financial obligations. We ask you to commit to making Temple a priority by giving at a level that is significant to you. My Temple Commitment is a way for us to partner and co-create a bright Jewish future.

For 2023-2024, our Board has not increased our required Base Commitment, but we are encouraging everyone to try to give 4% more than they did last year. We are grateful to the community for coming together to support our shared congregational endeavors together.

If payment by Stock Donation is preferred, we ask that you call the controller at 704-366-1948 in advance of the actual donation so that we may properly apply your donation to your commitment.

As a member of Temple Beth El, I understand that I am making a full year financial commitment to support the congregation. Additionally, I understand that Temple Beth El depends upon this commitment, and I will fulfill my financial obligation on or before JUNE 30, 2024. If I am unable to do so, I agree to contact Temple Beth El to make alternative arrangements.

I give Temple Beth El permission to continue charging my account annually using the method and timing indicated above (Note: Temple Beth El will only charge your credit card or ACH account if you designate it as your payment method. Those congregants paying via check, DAF or IRA donation, or stock transfer are asked to initiate payment independently.).

The amount applied to my account may increase each year at a maximum of 4% (in alignment with Board-approved MTC increases) without additional permission.

I will notify TBE if I wish to stop automatic renewal on my account, change my payment method, or change my payment schedule, and I acknowledge that I may do so at any time.
