Brotherhood Yom Hashoah Program

Each year, the Temple Beth El Brotherhood takes great pride in helping congregants commemorate Yom HaShoah, the international day of remembrance for the Holocaust, which begins at sundown on Sunday, May 5.

Candles will be available for pick up in the Temple Beth lobby on Sunday, April 14 - Sunday, May 5.

Temple Beth El Brotherhood underwrites 100% of the cost of this program; however, we are grateful that many congregants make donations of $18 (Chai) and more to help defray the cost of the candles. Any donations received more than our costs will be donated to the North Carolina Holocaust Foundation.

We hope that you and your family will join with Jews all over the world and light a Yom HaShoah candle on the evening of Sunday, May 5, in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.

Sincerely,
Your Brotherhood Board

Fred Valfer (President), Peter Benjamin, Bishop Cheen, Joe Coco, Howard Glazer, Jered Mond, Kent Novell, Matt Sadinsky, Harry Sparks, Jeffrey Schwartz, Nicole Sidman (Staff Liasion), Rabbi Knight (Clergy Liasion)
