Join us as we celebrate Chanukah! Rabbi Asher Knight will begin our program with a discussion on Chanukah 2000 Years Ago: How did the Early Rabbis Celebrate? While Chanukah is a significant holiday in the Jewish calendar, it is mostly neglected in the earliest rabbinic writings. It is not until the Talmud (500-700 CE) asks "What is Chanukah?" that the rabbis grapple with the holiday. So, how did the early rabbis celebrate?
