The mission of SPICE is to enhance the quality of life of affiliated and non-affiliated Jewish seniors by providing religious, cultural, educational, or social programs of interest and concern. Join us for a clergy-led program from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Lunch is at noon followed by a guest speaker presentation from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. 11:00 am - Rabbi Mort Kaplan - "Jewish Civil Wars"

12:00 pm - Lunch - Brisket sandwiches, roasted root vegetables, baked beans, and dessert

12:45 pm - Dr. David Goldfield, Professor of History, UNC Charlotte, will talk about his award winning book, Still Fighting the Civil War: The American South and Southern History.
