The mission of SPICE is to enhance the quality of life of affiliated and non-affiliated Jewish seniors by providing religious, cultural, educational, or social programs of interest and concern. Join us for a clergy-led program from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Lunch is at noon followed by a guest speaker presentation from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. We look forward to your attendance, enjoyment, and participation!

11:00 am - Rabbi Emerita Judy Schindler, Associate Professor, Philosophy and Religion Department, Queens University, - "What It Means to be a Mensch" - Honoring Marshall Lindner's Memory and Sense of Humor

12:00 pm - Special Chinese Buffet by Chef Jered, complete with fortune cookies/Bring a joke or funny story to share after lunch!

12:45 pm - Sam Shapiro, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Film Program Coordinator and Instructor of Film Studies, UNC Charlotte, - "Comedic Film". This program will be dedicated to our beloved Marshall Lindner who made us laugh with his jokes and sense of humor.
