The mission of SPICE is to enhance the quality of life of affiliated and non-affiliated Jewish seniors by providing religious, cultural, educational, or social programs of interest and concern. Join us for a clergy-led program from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Lunch is at noon followed by a guest speaker presentation from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. 11:00 am - Cantor Mary Rebecca Thomas - “Beautiful and Broken: Jewish Thoughts on Mental Health”
12:00 pm - Lunch - Baked potato bar, vegetarian chili, beef chili, salad, fruit, and dessert
12:45 pm - Mary Ellen Ezarsky, TBE member and twice chairman for Mental Health America of Central Carolinas, will discuss how we as a compassionate group can make a difference in removal of stigma surrounding mental health issues.
