Rabbi Beth Nichols, Director of Lifelong Jewish Learning at Temple Beth El, will talk about The Star of David: A Complicated History.  Today people recognize the Star of David as the primary symbol of the Jewish people.  In reality, the        identification of the six-pointed star as a Jewish symbol evolved slowly over the centuries.  Join Rabbi Nichols to explore and discuss the history of this symbol in Jewish life and beyond.
