12:45 pm – Learn about the history of the Julius Rosenwald schools: when state of the art schools were created for African-American children across the South. Dr. Dan Morrill, Professor of History, Emeritus Faculty at UNCC and one of Mecklenburg’s most noted historians, will enlighten us.
