Welcome Our Candidate for Director of Lifelong Jewish Learning – Rabbi Jordana Chernow-Reader

Rabbi Jordana Chernow-Reader says that making meaningful connections with others and creating relationships across the age-spectrum is the central part of her approach to the rabbinate and lifelong learning. Rabbi Chernow-Reader was ordained in 2010 from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in Los Angeles. She also earned master’s degrees in Jewish education and Hebrew letters from HUC-JIR, a master’s in political science from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and a bachelor’s degree from Pitzer College in Claremont, California in political and environmental studies. Rabbi Chernow-Reader currently serves as Rabbi-Educator at Fairmount Temple in Beachwood, Ohio. She enjoys interacting with young families, as well as, helping integrate what is happening among adult groups and school students with the wider community.
