This past year has been one of change and upheaval. From the pandemic and resulting lockdown, to the racial reckoning of the summer, to the political divisiveness of the fall, no one has been left untouched. Yet while we have all in many ways been living through the same storm, we have been traversing that storm in very different boats. Please join TBE congregants and clergy for an evening of conversation and reflection as we kick off a month-long learning and listening campaign. Together we will consider the effects of the last year on us as individuals and as a larger society. How have the events of the last year impacted this congregation? And how have they impacted our fellow Charlotteans? Let’s talk about those things that have kept us apart and work together to close those gaps.
