Join educators, pediatricians, administrators, and other concerned citizens from around Shalom Park invested in improving education for all Charlotte students, to learn about the emerging science of adversity and childhood stress. As part of Temple Beth El’s community organizing initiative, the Equity in Education issue team presents “Resilience,” a documentary that reveals the ways in which toxic stress can trigger hormones that wreak havoc on the brains and bodies of children, but also chronicles the dawn of a movement that is determined to fight back. This film will begin a conversation that empowers our Shalom Park Community to take action that will enable all children in every school throughout Charlotte to build resilience and have a more successful educational experience. Let's empower individuals and our community to improve the well-being of ours and future generations.
