Thursday, April 27-Sunday, April 30
We are excited to officially launch this Civil Rights Journey! This weekend immersive experience is open to ALL Temple Beth El Members as we want to travel together, learn together, act together, play together, and pray together. We will visit significant historical sites around Atlanta, Selma, Montgomery, and Birmingham where we will hear first-hand accounts of the ongoing struggle for equality and reflect on our obligation as Reform Jews to continue the fight.
We will leave by charter bus on the morning of Thursday, April 27 from Temple Beth El’s Parking Lot promptly at 9:00am. In addition to the full schedule of activities on the attached itinerary, we have arranged a group visit to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday afternoon (included in cost of trip).
