Join us for an insightful and reflective afternoon, beginning with Rabbi Asher Knight's presentation, 'Reflecting on October 7th: Over a Year Later.' Rabbi Knight will lead us in exploring the profound impact of that day on Israel, the Palestinian people, and the global Jewish community. This session will delve into themes of grief, anger, and how these painful acts of terrorism have shaped our collective experience.
Following Rabbi Knight's session, Noah Goldman and Douglas Greene from the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte will discuss the current state of Anti-Semitism locally, nationally, and globally.
We’ll round out the day with a delicious Greek-inspired menu, featuring chicken, potatoes, salad, and more, with baklava for dessert.
Registration for lunch is required. The cost for lunch is $15 for TBE members and $18 for non-members.
Presented by SPICE.
Register by Sunday, October 20. Please list the names of everyone you are registering as we will have nametags!
